Sealer is a third generation Acrylic resin based emulsion serves the purpose of consolidation of the friable porous substrates, enhances the adhesion of overcoated decorative or protective coatings, plasters and stucco's SEALER functions as a primer, sealing of micropores and microfine crevices and forms a hydrophobic zone also.

BENEFITS:
  • Single pack - ready to use
  • Water based - easy to handle, nonhazardous, nonflamable and nontoxic
  • High penetration power
  • Seals porosity and crevices.
  • Bonds strongly to cementitious substrates.
  • Excellent adhesion of overcoated paint or plaster

    END USES

Adhesion promotor, primer and sealer to be applied over cementitious substrates, prior to the application of decorative paints, waterproofing coatings, membranes and plasters - for interior & exterior applications.

Rough & porous- 40-45 ft2/liter/coat

(1) SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface shall be free from dirt, oil, paint and loose plaster. Clean the substrate throughly by brush. Remove the dust by compressed air or broom. If possible wash the substrate with clean water. Incase of high smooth and nonporous substrate 10% Hydrochloric acid etching treatment followed by water washing is ideal. The surface must be totally bond dry.

(2) MIXING :

Empty out the liquid out of the jar into a open plastic bucket. Mix it with wooden batten uniformely. For highly porous substrate apply two coates by diluting the material with water in 1:1 parts by volume ratio ie. 1 litre with 1 litre water.

(3) APPPLICATON:

Apply the material by good quality paint brush in a flooding way for maximum penetration.

(4) STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:

Store the material in cool and dry place away from sunheat. Shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture.
