SEALER / PRIMER

SEALER is a third generation acrylic resin based emulsion. It consolidates the fragile porous substrate, enhances the adhesion of over coated decorative or protective coatings, plasters and stuccos.

SEALER is a third generation acrylic resin based emulsion. It consolidates the fragile porous substrate, enhances the adhesion of over coated decorative or protective coatings, plasters and stuccos. Sealer acts as a primer, sealing of micro pores and micro fine crevices and forms a hydrophobic zone over the external facade.

BENEFITS :

  • Single pack - ready to use.
  • Waterbased - easy to handle
  • Non-hazardous, non-flammable and non-toxic.
  • High penetration power.
  • Seals porosity and crevices.
  • Bonds strongly to cementitious substrates.
  • Excellent adhesion on paint or plaster.

END USES :

Sealer acts as a primer and adhesion promotor. It is to be applied over cementitious substrates, prior to the application of decorative paints, waterproofing coatings, membranes and plasters - for interior & exterior applications.

  1. Ready to use.
  2. Waterbased, easy to handle.
  3. Nontoxic.
  4. High pentration powder.
  5. Seals porosity & crevices.
  6. Bonds strongly to cementious substrates.
  7. Excellent adhesion of overcoated paint or plaster.

DIRECTION FOR USE :

SURFACE PREPARATION :

The surface shall be free from dirt, oil, paint and loose plaster. Clean the substrate throughly by wire brush. Remove the dust by compressed air or broom. If possible wash the substrate with clean water. Incase of highly smooth and non-porous substrate 10 % Hydrochloric acid etching treatment followed by water washing is ideal. The surface must be totally bone dry.

MIXING :

Empty out the liquid out of the jar into a open plastic bucket. Mix it with wooden batten uniformly. For highly porous substrate apply two coats by diluting the material with water in 1:1 parts by volume ratio. ie. 1 liter with 1 liter water.

APPLICATION :

Apply the material by good quality paint brush in a flooding way for maximum penetration.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE :

Store the material in cool and dry place away from sunheat. Shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture.
